Product Description
Vari-Drums is a collection of loops and samples sped up and slowed down using Vari-speed within Pro tools. This technique was originally used with tape machines. By changing the speed, the pitch of the audio also changes. This adds interesting artefacts depending on which way the speed is changed. These loops and samples are been sped up by dividing the original BPM 0.75 and slowed down by multiplying the original BPM by 0.75.
This pack was produced and played by Matt Williams in this personal studio based In Cardiff. Matt decided to create this pack after hearing Mike Crossey explain his process while making the record ‘She’s American’. Matt has most notably played with Sleep Outside and Dude My Dude.
